The Manager, Supplier Management will be responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the Supplier team. The Manager is responsible for the efficient and accurate onboarding and management of Suppliers within the organization. The Manager, Supplier will be responsible for ensuring that the Supplier setup process is efficient, compliant, accurate, and aligned with the organization's needs. The Manager, Supplier will be a point of contact for escalations, to resolve and correct any issues/concerns raised by either internal customers or external suppliers. The Manager, Supplier is to strategize, create and oversee department tasks and projects, as well as oversee the work of the team, providing feedback and creating a collaborative environment. Establish and communicate goals with employees that support the company's overall goals. Define rules and procedures for employees to attain the company's goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supplier Assessment: Evaluating potential Suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance with company standards.
Documentation Management: Ensuring all necessary documentation, such as contracts, tax forms, new Supplier setup forms, and compliance certifications, is collected and maintained.
System Setup: Configuring Supplier profiles in the company's procurement or ERP systems to facilitate transactions and data management. Along with all feeder systems into the ERP
Communication: Acting as the primary point of contact for Suppliers, addressing inquiries, and providing support during the onboarding process.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensuring Suppliers meet legal and regulatory requirements, including insurance and licensing.
Cross-functional collaboration: Inspire and drive collaboration across a diverse array of stakeholders and senior leadership, align goals, exchange ideas, and ensure successful project delivery.
Issue Resolution: Managing and resolving any issues that arise during the Supplier relationship, including disputes and collaborating with Vendor Relations on service failures.
Training and Support: Providing training to internal teams on Supplier set-up processes and systems.
Reporting: Generating reports on Supplier performance, compliance, and spend analysis for management review.

Firsthand Supplier and procurement system experience, with track record of implementing systems and building operating efficiencies

Knowledge of internal controls in a public company environment from a financial operations context

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experience Supplier management roles of increasing responsibility and complexity
3 years of leadership experience
Bachelor's Degree or experience equivalent in Supplier management
Excellent critical thinking skills combined with the ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks with demanding deadlines
Experience with a service-based/SLA-based Supplier delivery model
Oracle Fusion experience desired
Experience driving projects to completion, updating stakeholders, and building roadmaps
Outstanding stakeholder engagement, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Demonstrated ability to think strategically about Supplier management
JOB SPECIFICATIONS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: This position is in Des Plaines eventually Schaumburg, IL with a Hybrid schedule 3 days in office, and operates in a professional office environment.
Positions Type/Standard Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
Travel: No Travel required for this position.
Physical Demands: Speak, hear, and see, and to use hand and fingers for computer keyboard and phone. Sit or stand for extended periods of time. Reach above head to pull paper attachments.
