Accounts Receivable Clerk - process and manager large volume of account receivables and follow-up on collection accounts.



Responsibilities




  • Maintains and updates accounts receivable records

  • Prepares bills and posts payments to customer accounts.

  • Reconciles accounts receivables to General Ledger

  • Communicates with managers,builders, customers to clarify information and to explain the billing process.

  • Manage, track and prepare weekly reports

  • Ability to enter and update data in accounting records accurately

  • Contacts customers to collect payments on past due accounts

  • Completes other duties as assigned




Qualifications




  • Some College and accounting classes are preferred

  • Basic skills in Microsoft office products including word, excel,

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent data entry skills

  • 1-3 years of previous receptionist/ administrative assistant experience in construction industry or related field

  • Experience with collections, AR and billing a plus

  • Must be honest, reliable and dependable and have a positive attitude

  • Must be able to work independently or with others in a team environment

  • Able to multitask and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Operate general office equipment for example; fax machine, copier, scanner and etc.

  • Must be able to meet deadlines and prioritized work based on urgency

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment



Position requires a drug test be completed, contingent upon employment and a background check if applicable.


Physical Demands
