Pieper Electric is seeking a Tooling Manager to coordinate the organizational functions of the equipment, tooling and assist with coordination of equipment movement in and out of the Warehouse or between jobs. The Tooling Manager will work closely with company operations and branch employees. The individual will perform a wide variety of administrative tasks assisting management in the execution of duties. The position requires professional communication, computer, and customer service skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive and handle incoming calls, and review and update equipment listing on a daily basis
Support overall operations with various equipment and tooling needs.
Complete a thorough check on all equipment prior to transferring to company locations.
Coordinate the move of equipment with branch employees to company locations.
Address and remedy compliance issues in the warehouse and branch vehicles.
Ensure all equipment and drivers are capable of operating in a safe manner
Properly maintain all logs and records. Coordinate and ensure DOT inspections, annual inspections and dielectric testing is complete on equipment that requires it.
Work with others to keep the warehouse, parking lot and HQ facility organized, safe and well maintained.
Assist with coordinating HQ building maintenance requests including coordinating the yearly hiring and overseeing of lawn maintenance and snow removal.
Supervise warehouse personnel and delivery drivers.
