Our brands bridge the gaps we see in the world. Old Navy democratizes style to ensure everyone has access to quality fashion at every price point. Athleta unleashes the potential of every woman, regardless of body size, age or ethnicity. Banana Republic believes in sustainable luxury for all. And Gap inspires the world to bring individuality to modern, responsibly made essentials.
This simple idea—that we all deserve to belong, and on our own terms—is core to who we are as a company and how we make decisions. Our team is made up of thousands of people across the globe who take risks, think big, and do good for our customers, communities, and the planet. Ready to learn fast, create with audacity and lead boldly? Join our team.
The Creative Director is a masterful storyteller, who believes in the power of creativity to shift minds and build emotional connections as we look to cultivate champions who want to work for, shop with and invest in our house of iconic American brands. They will work closely with Gap Inc. executive leadership, raising the bar on the corporate brand's creative excellence and enabling and empowering their team to do their best work. They bring vision, have deep brand and design experience and lead with strategic orientation.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned creative leader who can develop impactful campaigns spanning physical, multimedia, digital, and immersive experiences fueled by audience and competitive insights to enhance company brand perception. They are tapped into culture, fashion and creative networks, remaining curious, constantly evolving their craft, and embracing emerging techniques and tools to strengthen their work and teams' impact.
As we establish an elevated corporate brand narrative and aesthetic, the Creative Director will serve as an arbiter of exceptional taste and will be a creator with their team, while inspiring, mentoring and guiding talent to deliver strong creative and experiences. This role will oversee ideation, creation, management, and production of large corporate brand-building campaigns and engaging social media content to event asset development and employer brand collateral.
Most importantly, this person must be a source of inspiration, design leadership, and hands-on brand building for the Gap Inc. Creative team-both as a creator and as a leader.
