Senior PKI Administrator

Description:

The Sr. PKI Administrator will provide superior customer service to the Government Customer. PKI support is direct support of customer certificate issues and PKI system related issues.

• Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide support to the agency's efforts to manage and monitor Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Programs
• Provide in-depth knowledge of asymmetric and symmetric encryption key technologies and their application to support a public key infrastructure (PKI)
• This support includes the following activities:
  • Serve as a PKI Registration Authority
  • Conduct face-to-face user validation
  • Support development, maintenance, and management of policies
  • Maintain awareness of and competency with new and developing protocols, specifications, techniques, and standards
  • Coordinate and resolve Information Assurance related trouble tickets in connection with PKI
  • Create installation and training documentation
  • Provide training to new and current employees
  • Engage in supervisory responsibilities
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years relevant experience OR
• Associate degree and 8+ years relevant experience OR
• HS diploma and 10+ years relevant experience
• DoD 8140 (formerly 8570.01-M), IAT Level I: (within 6 months of hire)
• TS/SCI clearance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to obtain CI Poly Clearance
• Ability to work Shift hours. Shift will be identified upon hire
• Ability to work nights / weekends / holidays as required
• Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee may use repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
