Volt is immediately hiring an Fitter FabWelder in Portland, OR.
As an Fitter Gab Welder you will:
Verify subcomponents are undamaged and complete.
Safety assemble and weld project using standard fabrication methods.
Finish welds to customer standards.
Ensure dimensions and finish are within customers standards.
Communicate as needed with Shop Forman.
Assist other fabricators as needed.
Qualifications:
Able to sit, kneel, bend at the waist and reach daily.
Able to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
Flux Core Welding often to D1.5 code
Able to safety use tools such as grinders, sanders, drills etc.
This is a full time opportunity
Work Schedule: M-F Day Shift 6:00am - 2:30pm Swing Shift 2:30pm - 10:30pm
Pay Rate: $25-$32hr DOE
