The Treasury & Risk Manager is responsible for managing the Company's key Treasury activities including global cash management, as well as leading the Company's risk management activities, project-managing all insurance-related programs. This is a highly collaborative role that requires effective communication at all levels of the business up to Executives, and across all functions of the business globally including external partners. This position will report into the VP, Global Controller.



Responsibilities:



Treasury



  • Lead Treasury projects related to global expansion and corporate development activities (acquisitions, divestitures, and integrations), including capital structure planning to support such activities

  • Perform full range of global cash movement transactions and support complete range of Treasury activities (intercompany transactions, cash funding, foreign exchange management, etc.)

  • Manage foreign exchange (FX) trades, confirm contracts, and handle settlements

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, banks and financial institutions

  • Establish and refresh global treasury policies around compliance, SOX controls, investment strategy analysis, and reporting

  • Oversee cash management, liquidity, and investment activities

  • Develop and maintain financial risk management strategies




Risk Management



  • Oversee the strategic management and implementation of the commercial insurance program (other than employee benefits) for the organization

  • Manage corporate insurance-related matters

  • Manage all insurance-related projects, coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Responsible for managing the relationship and setting expectations for third-party insurance broker

  • Identify and evaluate the Company's exposure to loss or damage to physical assets, potential liability, etc.

  • Establish and oversee insurance coverage to include, but not limited to: making recommendations of coverage and retentions, negotiate placement of policies, ensure appropriate policies are in place, etc.

  • Responsible for upkeep of various insurance programs, including but not limited to: incident review, reporting claims, audits, worker's compensation, allocations of premiums, etc.

  • Manage reportable insurance claims, claims handling, related investigations and the coordination of inspections

  • Prepare and manage the annual insurance and claims budgets, as well as updating the claims reserves quarterly




Qualifications and Attributes:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or related discipline

  • Master's degree a strong plus

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) required/preferred

  • At least 6 years expertise in Treasury roles, including experience working for publicly-traded companies

  • Demonstrated expertise in FX trades

  • Excellent project management skills

  • SAP/BPC experience preferred. Major ERP system experience required, including experience with multiple sales channels, multiple subsidiaries, and multiple product lines.

  • Fast moving consumer products experience preferred

  • Outstanding analytical and accounting skills, including knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting

  • Understanding and experience with SOX internal control requirements

  • Mental toughness and energy to succeed in a fast-paced, multiple priority projects environment required

  • Comfortable and effective in presenting complex information to senior executives

  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills
