What you will enjoy doing*

• You will prepare and oversee the development of detailed drawings andlayouts of process plant electrical distribution systems for construction projects


• You will review and approve design packages for conformance to project definition, design safety, and quality standards, codes, and completeness


• Moreover, you'll provide prompt and accurate responses to construction RFIs


• Operate computer-aided design equipment and software to perform design activities


• You will review and check vendor drawings to ensure compliance with the scope of the purchase order, system functionality, constructability and all company and project instructions / specifications


• Further, you will develop technical bid tabulation to support the selection of major electrical equipment


• Work in a multi-discipline environment to achieve an on-time project completion while maintaining consistent and accurate documentation


• You will manage global relationships with regional offices in India,Munich, Canada, Brazil and Mexico offices


• Assist in the development of project schedules and manpower requirements

What makes you great

• You have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field plus ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in a related position


• Experience in power distribution (15kV, 5kV, 480V & 120V), cable tray design, grounding practices, sizing of wire and conduit, winterization (heat tracing), and lighting & utilities


• Knowledge of industrial codes, standards, and practices including the NEC.


• Knowledge of air separation plants is a plus


• You have the ability to read, interpret, and extract relevant information from electrical one-line diagrams, schematic wiring diagrams, P & I diagrams, and vendor drawings


• You have familiarity with database drawing software (i.e. Siemens COMOS, Bentley Autoplant, SmartPlant, AutoCad or other industry CAD systems), Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam


• Ability to work across multiple projects and with diverse project teams


• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to support project tasks and field construction activities

Salary Pay Range: 89,000 - 155,000 USD
