Schneider Electric is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Warehouse Engineer to join our team. As a Warehouse Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our warehouse operations and internal flow architecture based on the principles of Schneider Production Systems (SPS).

Overview:


  • Define the internal flow architecture based on SPS principles to drive operational efficiency and productivity.

  • Optimize warehousing activities, including reviewing stocking strategies based on FMR (First Move Rate) and implementing Kanban loops between inventory and workstations.

  • Organize the evacuation of finished products and waste, ensuring reliability of warehousing time definitions and upholding safety and ergonomic conditions.

  • Lead the integration of the information system in line with the principles set out in MPH (Manufacturing Process Handbook) and Warehouse, adapting to a continuous improvement approach for safety, quality, lead time, and cost optimization.

  • Drive the digital transformation of the plant by being the Key User of manufacturing digital tools, such as MES, Warehouse Management Systems, IIoT, AGV, AR, Cobot, etc., and serve as the Data-Owner of the Warehousing (DEX) Domain, managing all data in SAP.


Who will you report to?

Flow Controller Supply Chain Planning


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Material Engineering, or any other related field is required.

  • Proven experience in warehouse optimization and internal flow architecture design within a manufacturing environment.

  • 3+ years of experience with warehouse design (WADM) and industrial scenarios to meet Strong understanding of SAP and experience as a Data-Owner in SAP DEX.

  • Experience with AutoCAD is required.

  • Safety/Quality/Lead Times and productivity requirements.

  • Familiarity/exposure to smart factory applications preferred.
