A Day in the Life

Preference is for position to be hybrid (3 days onsite) at the Fridley, MN, campus but will consider US remote for the right candidate.

The GOSC Controllership Record to report North America organization is responsible to manage the Accounting of the USA and Canada Manufacturing plants. The Record to report team is a dynamic and diverse team six professionals hailing from various nationalities. We pride ourselves on our collaborative and inclusive work environment, leveraging our diverse backgrounds to drive innovation and excellence. Our team offers services for multiple key financial processes including Statutory and Corporate Income Tax reporting, Group reporting support and Audit coordination.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Manual Journal Entries

  • Intercompany debit and credit memos ( IDCM's)

  • Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline

  • Closing activities

  • Projects

  • GR/IR

  • Lead and participate in LEAN methodology process improvements

  • supporting projects and initiatives to transform, optimize, standardize, and automate statutory, corporate income tax and group reporting, also using LEAN methodology

  • Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepares internal and external financial reports.

  • Maintains or oversees the control of accounts and records in such areas as disbursements, expenses, tax payments and income.

  • Compiles and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy.

  • Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss and cash flow statements, prepares and consolidates financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports.

  • Designs, modifies, installs, and/or maintains accounting systems to ensure an adequate recognition of financial transactions.

  • Responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures and internal controls.

  • May be responsible for month end close.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of work experience in Accounting (Or Advanced Degree with 0+ years)

Nice to Have


  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Accounting,

  • 3+ years relevant working experience in accounting.

  • Good communication and interpersonal Skills

  • Highly self-motivated, pro-active and results driven,

  • Proficiency level in English business language,

  • Microsoft Excel intermediate proficiency level.

  • Enterprise Resource Planning system experience (preferably SAP)

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$63,200.00-$94,800.00

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
