Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Senior Software Business Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technical requirements, collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translating them into clear, actionable specifications for our Design, Development, and Quality Assurance teams.

Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Product Owners, UX Designers, and Software Engineers to define scope and associated effort of proposed features
- Eliciting, documenting, analyzing, and tracking business requirements from stakeholders
- Facilitating cross-functional solutioning sessions
- Translating business requirements into user stories ensuring clarity, accuracy, and testability
- Leading cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment between business goals, user experience, and technical implementation
- Proactively identifying risks, issues, and dependencies, while working to mitigate them
- Participating in continuously evaluating and improving internal processes and methods
- Developing a deep understanding of the application components and becoming a subject matter expert on the features and workflows

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field OR equivalent work experience. They should have ten or more years of experience as a Software Business Analyst working on customer-facing web-based software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to facilitate discussion with multiple cross-platform technical teams and drive consensus in complex technical discussions.

Additional qualifications include:
- Proficiency in translating intricate business requirements into comprehensive and testable acceptance criteria via clear and concise user stories
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and solutioning skills
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative desiring to be a member of a High Performing Team in a complex working environment
- Very strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Experience working in an Agile methodology like Scrum
- Experience or skills in Project Management
- Experience in Healthcare or other regulated industry
- Experience collaborating with UX Designers
- Experience with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) Acceptance Criteria format
- Experience in Azure DevOps (Boards)
