Responsibilities:
Lead the test, evaluation, and design verification of Tactical Control Systems under development.
Ensure functional and technical specifications are met while resolving software and hardware interface issues.
Develop, modify, and execute test plans, procedures, and reports, including equipment assembly and setup.
Define, review, and analyze system requirements for enhancements or modifications.
Provide input to project plans, deliverables, and program milestones.
Oversee and modify procedures and products for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) functions.
Analyze requirements documentation to validate compliance through testing and other means.
Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization.
Attend and participate in weekly technical and program meetings.
Communicate program issues and updates to management as necessary.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or related field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; OR
Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Clearance Requirement:
Active Secret Clearance required.
Experience:
Navy experience as a Submarine Fire Control Technician (FT) or related roles (ST, ET, or IT) is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with the AN/BYG-1 combat system.
Technical Expertise:
Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one discipline with developing knowledge in adjacent fields.
Proficient understanding of engineering principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
