Quality Calibration Technician
Manchester, CT United States | req19491 1st shift (7:00a - 3:30p) Monday - Friday
What you will enjoy doing*


  • You will manage Gage Trak System and facility calibrations program

  • You will perform in house equipment, gage, and systems calibrations within facility capabilities

  • You will coordinate calibration activities and maintain records of various tools, instruments, and gauges used for Product acceptance or Verification/Validation

  • You will schedule outside vendor calibrations timely, procures quotations, and initiates PO requisitions

  • Additionally you will ensure proper operation of measurement equipment by following operating instructions

  • Lastly you will assist Engineering and Operations in the investigation of non-conformities


What makes you great


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of aviation experience, preferred.

  • Knowledge of ISO9001 & AS9100 Quality management systems; working knowledge of First Article Inspection requirements per AS9102, AMS 2750.

  • Extensive knowledge of common inspection measuring equipment including, surface plates, micrometers, height gauges, radius gages, bore gauges, and dial indictors. Good manual dexterity and adept in use of precision measuring tools.

  • Ability to lift up to forty pounds and stand/sit for extended periods of time.
