Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Sales Claims Lead. The Sales Claims Lead is responsible for managing the sales claiming process, ensuring that merchandise claims are submitted accurately for optimized gross profit pull through analyzing program usage and making recommendations to create the highest optimization and making on the structure of the sales claiming process. Seeking candidates with experience with sales claims processing preferred. Experience with Caterpillar SPAR management preferred.

Requirements for the Sales Claims Lead position include:

  • Understanding of the sales claim process.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be a strong communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teams.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient or strong aptitude to learn, Microsoft Office Suite or related Caterpillar software.

Physical requirements must be met for the Sales Claims Lead job, including regularly being required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
