Leadership Opportunity in Topeka, KS
• We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON), RN/BSN to lead our nursing team and ensure exceptional care for our residents.
• Assist in planning, organizing, and directing daily nursing functions to meet resident needs.
• Support development and updates of care plans, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct nursing assessments, develop care plans, and oversee their implementation.
• Monitor and report on resident conditions while ensuring compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to provide quality care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and staff training.
• Provide direct nursing care during emergencies or staffing shortages.---
What We're Looking For:
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Kansas State Board of Nursing.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience preferred, in LTC/SNF, post or sub acute setting.
• Knowledge of PCC and Microsoft Suite preferred.
• Strong team collaboration skills, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including frequent standing, reaching, and lifting.---
