Description: The Judge Group is in search of a Quality Manager to lead all quality programs and compliance for the Manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.
Responsibilities
Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards
Develops, deploys and maintains all internal Quality systems and processes including training, internal auditing, document control and manufacturing quality plans.Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings
Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training and performance evaluations
Provides Quality oversight, guidance and support for raw material qualifications, technology transfer, product scale-up, trial production runs, pilot production and equipment validation.
Responsible for Continuous Improvement projects to improve the effectiveness of quality systems, associated manufacturing processes, key metrics, cost of non-conformances and in turn, enhance customer value.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering
5+ years of Quality experience and 2+ years of Quality supervisory experience
Advanced knowledge of quality methods and systems is required (statistics, control plans, sampling and auditing)
Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
PPAP/APQP experience
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
