Shift Hours:

1st is 6am to 2pm ( M-F)

2nd is 2pm to 10pm ( M-F )

3rd is 10pm to 6am ( Sunday 10pm start and finish on Friday at 6am)

Compensation:
Assembler I - $17.29/hr, plus shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift

Shift Differentials:

2nd shift and 3rd shift - $1.50/hr shift differential

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations.

  • Works from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions.

  • Sets initial layouts, and uses a variety of tools to prepare product(s).

  • Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.

  • May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.

  • May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

PRODUCTION SUPPORT CAREER STREAM: Provides support in manufacturing operations and/or distribution centers including assembly, machinery, processing, packaging, and/or distribution of company products. May set up and operate automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities in machines, with higher levels recommending and/or making adjustments to methods and processes. May be involved in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or storage of products in distribution centers.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Recommended basic job knowledge of production-related systems and procedures.

Mexico: Requires an Elementary school degree/GED or equivalent.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$33,600.00 - $50,400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The starting base rate of pay for this position and location is $17.29 per hour. The base rate is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
