Student will work mostly out-of-doors using agricultural equipment under the direction of SHSU faculty. This includes but is not limited to use of tractor and implements, irrigation installation and use, harvesting, data collection, fertilizer and weed control applications. A few hours occasionally on Saturdays may also be required during the Fall semester. Work will be done at the SHSU Gibbs Ranch - Plant Science Field Lab.
