Job Description:

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $96,000 - $144,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward points), dental, vision, and basic life insurance, Benefit Bucks (credits to apply towards your benefits) flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being and recognition (including service anniversary) programs, 12 holidays per year, 15 days of paid time off per year (pro-rated in the first year of employment based on start date), opportunity to purchase company stock (eligibility depends on start date), and military leave benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Develop ment and maint enance of WPF application themes , styles , and custom controls to provide consistent application s, tool s, and icons across the product suite
  • Involved in leading user experience and product design decisions , including wireframes and prototypes
  • Collaborate with other technical staff, including UI/UX d esigner s , technical leads and architects
  • Work with the development team to define, and ensure adherence to, product usability standards (by example and formally)
  • Work with product managers and product owners to review requirements and estimate development effort
  • Provide inputs on technical direction and leadership of development activities
  • Promote component quality through leadership in architecture discussions , design reviews, and code reviews
  • Investigate, evangelize, and propose adoption of new technology
  • Active mentorship , assistance , and guidance on technical development for other software engineers
  • Work with development teams in different time zones and cultures
  • BS in Computer Science, MS in CIS (or related field with strong computer emphasis)
  • 10 + years hands-on experience in developing and delivering software products
  • Deep knowledge and experience developing end-user applications with Microsoft .NET developer tools ( WPF in particular)
  • Knowledge in all aspects of the software life cycle from definition, requirements analysis and design to implementation
  • Advanced knowledge and background and practical experience in object-oriented methodologies and design patterns
  • A demonstrated passion for improving software development abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices; team-based software development
  • Experience with test-driven development tools and practices
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
