Job Description:

Dragados (Group ACS) and Acciona Groups have been awarded a contract to finance, build and then operate for 50 years the SR400 Express Lane project of more than 25 km of managed lanes in Atlanta, Georgia. The project has a construction value of more than $4.6 billion (EUR 4.2 billion).


The commercial Manage is responsible for Coordinating, Facilitating, the commercial team with various aspects involving the request for proposals, procurement, and negations of contracts concerning the project.



Responsibilities



  • Overseeing, coordinating, and facilitating the procurement functions with other departments and groups, specifically MWDBE and Compliance

  • Overseeing, coordinating, and arranging meetings with internal and external parties



  • Write, edit, and submit documents for project specific use

  • Input, prepare, and submit WSDOT Progress Payments in a timely basis

  • Submit documents to the Project Manager and Executive Committee for his approval, signature, and document management final distribution.

  • Submit required forms and documents to WSDOT Contract Administration Group



  • Knowledge o the DBE ......

  • Experience to manage teams

  • Oversight the Project control manager and prepare economic reports

  • Coordination of the legal department



  • Facilitating, coordinating, and supporting joint efforts with:


    • Project Managers office

    • Deputy Project Managers office

    • Administrative and Finance Offices

    • Construction Office

    • Engineering Office

    • Project Controls Office


  • Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of contract administration filing system.


    • Outlook contacts, consultants, subcontractors, materials, and equipment suppliers.

    • STP agreements document and required forms administrative guide

    • STP digital requisition form


  • Responsible for the preparation and distribution of:


    • Subcontracts

    • Sub-consultant agreements

    • Purchase orders

    • Special purchases


  • Attends weekly management and WSDOT meetings

  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.


Required



  • Bachelors' degree in engineering,

  • Demonstrated technical and professional skills in this field

  • 10+ years of experience

  • 5 years of Design and construction industry work experience in similar role is required.


Preffered



  • Strong typing and computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Professional

  • Demonstrated presentation, organization, and leadership skills.

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and work in high pressure environment.

  • Must demonstrate exceptional judgment, discretion and professional courtesy.



  • Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
