The Head of Pet Owner Digital Products is a pivotal role in shaping the digital experience for pet owners and driving growth within our Data and Digital Solutions team.


This individual will be responsible for the strategic vision, development, and execution of our pet owner-facing digital products. This includes owning the product roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring these products deliver exceptional value and engagement for pet owners, ultimately enhancing the lives of pets and their families.



Position Responsibilities




Stakeholder Management




  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and nurture strong relationships with across Petcare, Livestock and with our outside partners, ensuring open communication, and alignment of priorities to achieve common objectives.


  • Identify and Engage Key Stakeholders: Proactively identify and engage key stakeholders throughout product lifecycles, during prioritization sessions, or within ongoing operations, understanding their needs, concerns, and expectations to deliver on key identified objectives.


  • Manage Stakeholder Expectations: Effectively communicate product/organizational priorities and progress, challenges, and changes to stakeholders, managing their expectations and ensuring their continued support and collaboration.


Strategy Development



  • Develop and own the strategic roadmap for pet owner-facing digital products, aligning with overall business objectives and customer needs.

  • Define the product vision and strategy, prioritizing initiatives based on market trends, user insights, and business goals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable product requirements and features.




Strategic Planning



  • Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, outlining clear objectives, timelines, and success metrics for each product initiative.

  • Continuously assess the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to identify new product opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.

  • Partner with marketing and growth teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies and drive product adoption.




Strategic Execution



  • Lead the execution of the product roadmap, collaborating closely with design, engineering, and other relevant teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.

  • Leverage data analytics and user feedback to measure product performance, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on existing products.

  • Experiment with new features, technologies, and approaches to enhance the user experience and drive engagement.




Product Optimization & Analytics



  • Monitor key product metrics and KPIs, analyzing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization.

  • Collaborate with the data team to define and track relevant metrics, ensuring data-driven decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Continuously seek feedback from users and stakeholders to inform product enhancements and drive continuous improvement.




Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products in a consumer-facing environment

  • Experience in the pet care industry or a related field preferred

  • Demonstrated knowledge of organizational acumen and working in a matrix organization




Technical Skills Requirements



  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau)

  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools

  • Understanding of web and mobile app development technologies

  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and Microsoft Office Suite

Position is based in Parsippany, NJ, Remote considered
