Our two-shift manual assembly team is searching for a new Mechanical Processing Engineer that can learn and introduce new technologies to our future and existing product line.
As part of our leadership team, this person will own the production process for the assembly line for our industry leading Powermax products. They will focus on continuously driving process improvements through product-life-management activities. If you want to be part of developing new product platforms and design new production lines that are safer, more productive, and higher quality, this is an opportunity for you.
Who you are and the experience you bring:
You will jump right in and help us integrate electromechanical assemblies into the team. Using your experience with Lean and Six Sigma practices, regularly seek process improvements and initiatives to improve safety, enhance quality, reduce cost, and increase earnings.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
2+ years of experience supporting electromechanical assembly
A passion for seeking and delivering process improvements
Outstanding collaboration skills, a flexible and friendly approach to working in teams, and the attitude to always strive for the best outcomes
Experience with MS Office and SolidWorks
Prior experience with Bill of Materials and Engineering Change Orders
Preferred experience that differentiates you:
Hands-on professional experience as a process engineer
Experience landing and troubleshooting production equipment
Experience facilitating Kaizens
Database management tool experience with the ability to write queries
Project Management experience
Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certification
Experience with any of the following: Lean Manufacturing, Statistical Analysis Software, GD&T, VSM, DFM, pFMEA, dFMEA, Structured Problem Solving
