Speaks directly with the patients, providers and other users of our digital products Conducts?generative research?to?understand?user needs and?evaluative research to assess?conceptual prototypes of digital experiences.? Conduct and coordinate studies and synthesize the research into findings for consideration and discussion on the Product team. Establishes the goals of the research, the methods they will use to gather data, and the budget and timelines required Creates?a deep understanding and empathy for our target customers through sprint cycle rapid-feedback loops Creating?recruiting screeners, test scripts, interview guides and scheduling?research studies? Utilizing?remote, unmoderated usability test platforms (Usertesting.com, UserZoom, etc.) to rapidly turn around concurrent tests? Provides oversight of vendors that assist with research and?/?or?subject recruitment. Understand how research impacts the role of Product Owner and the relevance of research to other Product lines and key stakeholders. Recognize how to analyze qualitative data, provide feedback analysis and differentiate from quantitative data in reporting
This includes:
Participant management: recruiting, screening, scheduling, and distributing incentives to research participants
Knowledge management: maintain the team insights repository, including creating and overseeing processes by which new research is added and existing research is distributed, maintained, updated, and archived
Governance: create processes and guidelines for consent, data privacy, and asset/information storage
Communication and advocacy: sharing, socializing, and evangelizing the value of user research throughout an organization
Tools: strategic procurement and management of tools and platforms to increase efficiencies and scale research
Work tracking and team capacity: assist the team in reporting and tracking the work they're doing for departmental visibility
Desired Experience
We're seeking someone with at least 3 years' experience in design or research operations and a combined total of 7 years' experience in design or research operations, user research, program and/or project management or other relevant experience
Previous experience in a dedicated research-operations role
Previous experience in healthcare research settings
