Our GFL team is expanding, and we're looking for a Contract & Data Entry Specialist I to join us in Raleigh, NC. As a Contract & Data Entry Specialist I you will be responsible for entering and verifying temporary contracts, permanent contracts, and service level transactional changes for the regions as well as sites. The individual will close or edit all permanent customer contracts, enter information related to seasonal customer contracts and adhere to the processes of transmitting the information to and from the sites.

A "Day in the Life" of a Contract & Data Entry Specialist I
Daily entry of new and existing customer contracts, service level changes, updating of terms and cancellations
Index Customer Contracts, ensuring that Customer Contracts are accurately entered to the correct customer account in Tower and linked into Datamagine
Complete work to meet or exceed productivity and quality expectations with minimal assistance
Meet and maintain department productivity goals for accuracy
Oversee the exemption of customers with contractual limitations for price increases from traditional price increase methods where required
Complete data entry and verification tasks as required
Comply with all company policies, procedures and directives from supervisors
Work a varying schedule, established by the manager and be able to work overtime on an as-needed basis
Adapt to change and learn new processes as the business evolves/develops
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
1+ years of administrative experience in a high volume environment, with prior waste industry experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Team player with positive attitude who takes initiative and has a strong work ethic
Ability to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written as well as verbal) with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in a professional, competent manner
Effective time management and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently and independently
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Tower experience is considered an asset
