What You'll Accomplish:




  • Enhance Patient Throughput: By efficiently managing patients in the Medical Short Stay Unit, you'll improve the flow of care, reduce unnecessary hospital admissions, and expedite safe discharges.


  • Improve Patient Outcomes: Your clinical decisions will lead to improved health outcomes for patients in short-stay observation, addressing conditions before they escalate to requiring full hospital admission.


  • Elevate Care Protocols: Within the first 6 months, you'll refine protocols, contributing to improved efficiency and higher patient satisfaction scores.




What Success Looks Like:




  • Within 3 months: You will have familiarized yourself with the team, workflow, and patient population, and have begun making an impact by improving patient throughput in the Medical Short Stay Unit.


  • Within 6 months: You will have led efforts to refine protocols that enhance efficiency, reduced unnecessary admissions by X%, and improved care coordination with other hospital departments.


  • Within 12 months: Your efforts will have resulted in measurable improvements in both patient outcomes and departmental performance metrics, contributing to the overall success of the Medical Short Stay Unit.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: L - Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly; requires occasional walking, standing or squatting.



PAY RANGE: $200,000.00 - $250,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
