The position of theSecurity Guard (unarmed)is to provide and maintain a safe and secure environment at The Sanctuary Dispensaries. Guards patrol, perform access control and investigate disturbances within the facilities. Guards will also assist in monitoring surveillance or alarm systems.
Responsibilities
Promote a positive work environment that puts the customer or patient experience at the forefront and adheres to the established policies and procedures
Maintain complete knowledge of all security operations, policies, and proceduresEstablish and maintain working relationships and provide assistance as requested to managers, supervisors and employees on an ongoing basis to enhance the security and safety of all employeesCommunicate and liaise with law enforcement, fire departments and other first responder personnelRemain alert and aware of all situations in the parking lot, the surrounding property and throughout the interior of the building at all times
Maintains appropriate grooming and uniform standards
Observe and report suspicious activity, identify subjects and provide detailed physical descriptors of any customer who may appear to show signs of suspicious behavior. Ability to provide details of any/all incidents that occur through incident reporting documentation
Advise customers and patients on appropriate action regarding safety or securityBe the voice of The Sanctuary Dispensaries and professionally represent our core values and moralsKeep any relevant logs up to date and compliant with local and state regulationsPatrol the facility and perimeter regularly and as requiredMaintain a high visibility presence and uphold safety standards within the interior and exterior of the facilityMonitor the ingress or egress of employees, visitors, vendors, and customers with the ability to detect suspicious, illegal, or unsafe activity, diffuse situation and evict violatorsHelps support other facility employees by performing other tasks as apparent or as delegated by MODInform management of reoccurring issues with customers, equipment, or platform softwareAlways maintain strict confidentiality of customer/patient informationAttend mandatory training and staff meetingsOther tasks and duties as assigned by management
