Utilizes program/project management skills with a social services lens to administer the organization’s CDFI certification and related programming. Works closely with key Financial Wellness team members as the point person for maintaining processes around data collection and reporting needed to support Rivermark’s ongoing CDFI re-certification process and grant compliance. Leads the program coordination process associated with successful CDFI grants as well as other philanthropically funded community projects, including the people, products, timelines, and metrics that make for a successful grant. Identifies new programing opportunities that will positively impact the CDFI Target Market by working with internal departments and community organizations. Works as Rivermark’s Certified Acceptance Agent to assist migrant populations in gaining access to financial services through facilitating the ITIN application process.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinates the successfully awarded CDFI and other philanthropically funded grants, overseeing program implementation, timelines, people, products, and success metrics. Leads the administration of the programming associated with the CDFI Financial Assistance grant. Monitors grant activities to ensure compliance with funding requirements, identifies risks to successful outcomes, and collaborates with manager for corrective actions, as needed.
Collaborates with vendor to coordinate data submission requirements and obtains and submits all requested information before established deadlines.
Establishes and maintains processes for the timely and accurate collection of data required for Rivermark’s CDFI certification Collaborates with the internal data team to design and build efficient reporting processes and systems that support ongoing and end-of-program assessments CDFI compliance metrics.
Conducts research on CDFI-related policies, trends, and best practices to inform program improvements and identify new opportunities for impactful programming. Actively researches and evaluates grant funding opportunities and industry innovations, ensuring that Rivermark’s programs remain competitive, compliant, and impactful in addressing the needs of underserved communities.
Identifies other philanthropically funded grant opportunities that will further Rivermark’s vision. Collaborates with management and external partners to prepare grant proposals that align with organizational priorities and community needs.
Obtains and maintains education and other requirements necessary to become a Certified Acceptance Agent through the IRS. Facilitates the ITIN application process for members, ensuring they can access Rivermark’s financial services. Educates members about the ITIN process and its role in building financial inclusion.
Represents the credit union at industry events and forums to advocate for financial inclusion and share best practices.

Requirements - Education & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Education, certifications, or other applicable credentialing in project/program management preferred.
Experience: Minimum three years experience working within a project/program management or other data administration role required. Grant writing experience preferred. Fluency in Spanish required.
