Job Summary
Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Systems Engineer and Integration Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to directly support the United States Space Force (USSF) in advancing mission success and shaping the future of space operations.
In this critical role, you will contribute to the Operational Test and Training Infrastructure (OTTI) Integrated Program Office (IPO)-a cornerstone initiative ensuring USSF readiness and operational agility. The OTTI program focuses on developing, acquiring, and sustaining state-of-the-art test and training capabilities to maintain a competitive edge in space operations.
We're looking for a candidate who combines deep technical expertise with strategic insight and exceptional communication skills to drive impactful results in a fast-paced and mission-critical environment. Compensation Minimum: $205,000

Job Requirements:
Skills / Experience Required
Top Secret, SCI Eligible
10+ years of proven, practical, and relevant Department of Defense (DoD) work experience, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table
Experience supporting System Program Offices (SPO) and/or Program Management Offices (PMO) or supporting system and capability delivery to SPOs/PMOs
Demonstrate seasoned proficiency honed through immersive involvement in Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E), with an in-depth understanding of the intricacies of test and training materiel systems to foster innovation and advancement
Exhibit comprehensive expertise and firsthand experience in the deployment and maintenance of space test and training materiel systems, ensuring seamless integration and sustained operational efficiency
Proven experience in Systems Engineering (SE) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) fundamentals and their practical implementation contributing to system RDT&E and fielding
Experience with and working knowledge of the Joint Capabilities Development and Integration System (JCIDS) and DoD Architectural Framework (DODAF) processes and artifacts
Experience and skills spanning diverse disciplines such as Space System Architectures, Satellite and Ground Segment design, electro-optical (EO) Infrared (IR), and Radio Frequency (RF) Sensors, Astrodynamics, Propulsion, Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC), space-related data communications, and Space Battle Management and Control, reflecting a holistic grasp of space technology domains
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills alongside a proven track record of teamwork and/or leadership, fostering effective collaboration and alignment within cross-functional teams
Full-time, on-site presence required, with potential travel up to 25% to support program needs
Education / Certifications
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree (required) in Systems Engineering or a related engineering field (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Software, etc.)
Degrees in other Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) fields may be considered with substantial, relevant professional experience
Master's degree (MS/ME/MA) in Systems Engineering or a related field is strongly preferred
Degrees in other STEM fields may also be considered with significant, relevant professional experience
