Administer the GIS for the organization by creating and maintaining data, applications, and tools.
Manage data related to underground utilities, waterways, equipment, and other assets.
Develop and author RFPs and workload estimates to support project management teams.
Participate in the development of the GIS by reviewing inaccuracies, researching Record Documents, and editing features in the Enterprise Portal.
Perform field work to investigate and validate infrastructure locations and conditions.
Develop and maintain mobile and web-based GIS resources.
Maintain GIS infrastructure including software upgrades, map production, spatial analyses, and data updates.
Train and assist non-technical staff in the use of GIS software.
Develop scopes of work and RFPs for outside consulting resources.
Provide guidance and decision matrices to support executive decisions.
Partner with internal teams to maintain and enforce design guidelines, standards, master specifications, and details.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using enterprise databases and ArcGIS Enterprise * Experience with at least one relational database management system and writing SQL queries and Python scripts * Experience with underground utility systems (Esri Utility Networks)
Required Education
BS degree in Geography, Computer Science, Engineering
Basic Qualifications
Solid understanding of GIS fundamentals and concepts, including asset data management and editing. * Proficient in the use of Esri's suite of mobile, desktop, web, and server-based ArcGIS products, such as ArcGIS Pro, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, and Field Maps. * Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as record engineering drawings to independently solve problems and perform analyses. * Effective communication skills (verbal and written) with clients, consultants, contractors, Resort stakeholders, and management. * You must be a self-starting collaborator to provide experience to bring concepts into physical and digital reality.
