SUMMARY
The Construction Superintendent IV provides start to finish direction and supervision of assigned building projects and promotes high standards of workmanship performed by subcontractors. This position serves as a source of information and guidance to the subcontracted workforce while ensuring the timely and quality completion of all assigned projects.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors Certification or ability to achieve it prior to start of work or PMP Certification is preferred, but not required.
Must be familiar with the requirements of EM 385-1-1 and have experience in the areas of hazard identification and safety compliance, Accident Prevention Plans (APP), Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA), as well as Production and CQC reports.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Becomes thoroughly familiar with the plans, specifications, daily correspondence, shop drawings and all documents related to building projects. Works with the Project Manager to prepare project schedules.
Supervises and inspects the work of subcontractors. Oversees subcontracted workforce to ensure safe, efficient, economical and timely completion of work. Instructs subcontractors in job direction and company policies.
Ensures construction conforms to contract requirements. Emphasizes high quality standards that promote customer satisfaction.
Responsible for worksite adherence to all safety standards. Understands and enforces company safety policies and procedures. Organizes safety meetings with employees and supervisors. Practices, instructs and enforces all OSHA safety requirements / guidelines.
Conducts meetings with subordinates, subcontractors and others, as appropriate, to share information and to coordinate / direct work.
Develops Activity Hazard Analysis and/or Job Hazard Analysis for submittal on task orders.
Travels to remote job locations, as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field of study and a minimum of ten (10) years' relevant construction experience with at least five (5) of those years' as superintendent project management and supervisory management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The estimated pay range for this role is $118K to $130K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
