The Financial Associate is responsible for providing financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for multiple Business Units. This position will research, collect, review and monitor financial data in order to build timely and accurate financial models that are able to increase company profit through enhancements of operational efficiencies and resource utilization. This person is someone who has excellent problem solving skills, thrives in a challenging environment, energetic, flexible, and self-motivated.

AS A SCHOOL FINANCIAL ASSOCIATE, YOU WILL...
Oversees and approves all A/P and A/R including Medicaid reimbursements;
Handles the expense report reimbursement and the check distribution process; processes payroll cycles
Manages requests for school purchase orders, transactions, and vendor records; Manages expenses related to student therapy services;
Researches, recommends, assists in the development/applicationprocess, and oversees grants and other funding sources to ensure full compliance and appropriate management;
Ensures timely and accurate submissions for state and federal funding determinations, audits all information to be submitted to the state and K12, and thoroughly reviews interim financial reports;
Manages the human resources process detail for ARVA Board employees including but not limited to: the onboarding and termination of employees, the determination of annual eligibility for, and subscription to benefits, and manages employee files;
Implements and ensures compliance with Board of Directors, District, and K12 reporting and school finance policies, internal controls and business processes;
Leads the process of school financial audits and assists in tax filings;
Serves as onsite liaison for real estate matters including maintaining relationships with brokers and coordinating office expansions;
Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of Arkansas law for school finance within public schools;
Demonstrates expert knowledge and resourcefulness in meeting all financial expectations of an Arkansas public school, meeting deadlines and delivering attention to detail
Successfully meets expectations serving as a school-based interface with K12 financial partners

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
******School Based Position******
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, Business or related area of study AND
Two (2) years of broad-ranging experience in school business management OR
Equivalent combination of education, training and experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience ensuring compliance under Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
Compensation & Benefits:Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.
We anticipate the salary range to be $24-$26. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
