The Department of Accounting & Finance in the College of Management at the University of Massachusetts Boston invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position, beginning September 1, 2025.Candidates in Accounting, especially in the areas of Tax, Accounting Data Analytics, and Audit are encouraged to apply. Appropriate candidates will hold a doctoral degree in Accounting or a closely related discipline. ABDs will be considered but must complete their doctorate by September 1, 2025. The successful candidate is expected to show evidence of an active scholarly research agenda and potential for scholarship and teaching excellence in Accounting at the undergraduate and graduate levels.Responsibilities include maintaining a research program leading to publications in high-quality journals, teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in on-campus and online modalities, and providing service to the department, college, university, and the profession.
