Develop and apply forward-looking financial models and analyses to provide insights into organizational operations, budgeting, and forecasting.
Present monthly financial statements on an accrual and cash basis, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Manage cash flow, banking, and investment relationships to ensure optimal financial operations and fund availability.
Lead Hudson's accounting team, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and adherence to recordkeeping, budgets, and accounting systems.
Oversee financial compliance for federal contracts, grants, and internal controls, including project financials and tax filings.
Coordinate the annual audit process, working closely with the Board of Trustees' Audit and Risk Committee and managing investment oversight and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a preference for nonprofit experience.
CPA or MBA designation is required.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with an ability to effectively collaborate with senior management and diverse teams.
Strong leadership and management experience, with a track record of building and supervising finance teams.
Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high standards of accuracy in financial operations.
