The Project Specialist is an established performer who works to facilitate and support business development functions and projects by providing accurate data reporting and project support as defined by the business. This role will be responsible for being a liaison between business development and project teams to drive project success through data reporting and project coordination.



Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:




  • Support administrative and program requirements to drive business development initiatives.
  • Maintain departmental records and prepare special and recurring reports.
  • Collaborate between various departments and customers to ensure effective implementation and communication on all programs, processes, and procedures.
  • Work on projects and assignments as part of a larger cross-functional working team.
  • Build reports and proposals for business development and sales teams, customers, and/or outside agencies to aid in the implementation of projects and programs.
  • Perform accurate analyses, conduct research, and draw meaningful conclusions about potential job/work-area impacts.
  • Draw from prior experience, interpret facts, and identify incomplete data/anomalies to solve problems.
  • Effectively apply functional, process, and procedural or technical knowledge to address business challenges.
  • May prepare and help manage sample processes and order shipments.
  • Perform other duties as needed.



Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite products.
