BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Quality Outreach Coordinator for an opportunity in Remote!

Expected Duration:
3+ Months of contract with contract to hire




Job Type:

Pay Range:
$17.00 - $20.50/hr.

Job Description:




Position Purpose:



Performs duties to assist in activities related to closing open care gaps for high-risk members.



Responsibilities:



Customer service.


Calling members via phone.


Calling the members and providing service.


Outbound calling.


The purpose of the team is to close care gaps, and ensure they are being addressed.


HEDIS -Health Effectiveness Data and Information Sets.


QARR - Quality Assurance Reporting Requirements.


PSO - Preventative Service Outreach (Majority).


HRA - Health Risk Assessment (Filler / temporary).



Required Skills/Experience:



High School Diploma (GED)


HEDIS / QARR.


Needs to demonstrate leadership capabilities. This person is going to need to be able to problem solve.


Strong organizational skills.


Exceptional phone behavior.


Healthcare background (doctor's office, hospital setting, 2+ years).


Medical Terminology.


Exceptional work ethic.


Microsoft Office must have stable internet connection, must be connected to secure Wi-Fi (home) not Starbucks, hotels, etc.



Education/Experience:



High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years managed care setting, medical office or facility setting with demonstration of medical administration duties.


Knowledge of medical terminology.


Interacts with high-risk members and/or providers to improve healthcare outcomes and close care gaps such as increased preventive care compliance.


Provides support for quality initiatives including outreach to members who are noncompliant in the designated outreach services.


Conducts seasonal call campaigns, in coordination with local market efforts.


Enters data assessments and authorizations into the system and maintains database as directed.


Maintains integrity of Personal Health Information.


Performs other duties as assigned.


Complies with all policies and standards.
