Shift: This role is 4th Shift, 6:00 AM-6:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $20.69 an hour

Position summary:

Conagra Brands in Darien, WI a local supplier of Birds Eye products, is seeking qualified individuals to fill entry level openings as a pasta coater in the processing department for rotating night shifts. Reporting to the Team Leader Quality, you will work on-site at one of Conagra's largest manufacturing facilities with over 800 employees.

You will:

• Complete basic line checks.


• Perform food safety and quality line checks as outlined in the Quality Technician SOP.


• Sample materials.


• Be able to grade all commodities.


• Complete documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.


• Close-out line documentation in correct order for management review.


• Assist Quality Team Lead with accurate information to support disposition on nonconformances or holds by taking a leadership role to involve others in investigation to ensure dispositions and maintain the paperwork and files associated with nonconformances, holds and releases.


• Perform re-checks on any given hold before shift ends.


• Communicate issues to managers, supervisors, and other leads and - including daily recaps.


• Improve existing quality and food safety programs and procedures.


• Respond and conduct Pre-ops to ensure food safety and quality.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalence, 2 years of food experience.


• Appropriate attendance is required


• Candidate will effectively communicate in English (read, write, speak)


• Must have solid abilities in Word, Excel.


• Will prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.


• Will work with Technicians and Management
