The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco has a great opportunity for a Sr. Project Analyst to join our Culinary, Logistics + Print team within Workplace Experience. In this role, you will lead, provide support and contribute to various projects and programs.  This exciting role provides an opportunity to work with a variety of internal and external business partners, conduct vendor management, provide oversight to the Los Angeles cafeteria program, and deliver data analytics related to cafeteria financials and usage.  In addition, assist the logistics business line with administrative support.

A successful candidate will be proactive, can lead multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously and to communicate effectively with a wide-ranging leadership team across multiple locations. Responsibilities:


  • Lead or support project and work activities in accordance with defined business unit standards and delivered according to established deadlines. This includes developing and updating project/program plans, identifying project/program tasks, tracking project/program milestones, communication plan, and providing status updates to management

  • Conducts monthly health and safety inspections and uses broad data analysis to advise findings on monthly key performance indicator report. Accurately inputs and scores information into key performance indicator tracker and provides report out in monthly meetings

  • Maintains vendor contracts (renewals, expirations, adding funds), and is knowledgeable on procurement processes and able to coordinate RFPs and Ariba requisitions with little supervisory oversight

  • Partners with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure project and work activities are completed in accordance with department standards and delivered according to established deadlines

  • Responsible for coordinating and scheduling the maintenance and repairs of specialized kitchen and logistics equipment and machinery

  • Keeps track of all maintenance and repairs. Approves invoice payments in Ariba.

  • Coordinates vendor screening, access, and approvals for Culinary, Logistics and Print

  • Addresses challenges and opportunities with the café in a timely manner. Reports constructive feedback to leadership and food service provider and follows-up to ensure actions are taken to address

  • Provides back up support to logistics – mail processing, distribution of packages via BearTracks software, and smart lockers. Occasionally create FedEx shipping labels and contact FedEx to tackle shipping issues

  • Provides administrative support for logistics Smart locker system. Ensures packages are supervised between Beartracks and Smart locker software accurately and fixes issues if not

  • Assists with implementing and updating project and program management processes and making improvements/changes

  • Helps to ensure that project and work activities are completed in accordance with defined business unit standards and delivered according to established deadlines; raise issues and concerns to the management team in a timely manner

  • Proactively connect with internal and external customers, peers and management while providing efficient and high-quality customer service.

  • Monitors progress of assigned Group or System projects and provides project or business unit status updates to management

  • Collects and analyzes business unit or project data and metrics.

  • Perform analytical tasks ranging from simple to sophisticated assignments, related to culinary financials and general culinary data

  • Participate in and/or lead workgroups to improve business unit processes and procedures

  • Participate in budget related activities including but not limited to, supervising contracts and expenses, responding to inquiries, providing financial documentation, generating and distributing financial reports and providing rationale and recommendations

  • Provide backup support for other administrative and analyst positions within the business unit and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


  • Requires knowledge of project management tools, methods, and standard processes such as those defined by the Project Management Body of Knowledge

  • Minimum 2 – 3 years of project support and management experience required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communication or other related field or equivalent work experience is preferred

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, produce quality results, be able to take direction and work independently, and be able to own your workload to meet project timelines.

  • Experience with SharePoint and Tableau is preferred

  • Proficient computer skills in programs including, but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint and Project.

Base Salary Range: Min: $71,300 - Mid: $92,400 - Max: $113,700 (Location: Los Angeles)

Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
