Medtronic Pelvic Health R&D is looking for a dynamic and experienced Core Team Leader to oversee the design, development, and maintenance of a digital health ecosystem tailored for Pelvic Health patients and clinicians. This role involves program leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration to drive product innovation and support commercialization efforts. In this role, the right candidate will have the opportunity to partner with best-in-class cross-functional peers that are developing the future in treating a patient population in real need of long-term solutions.Key Responsibilities:


  • Ownership of the Digital Health Portfolio and program execution initiatives for the Pelvic Health digital health ecosystem

  • Manages the total product lifecycle for the digital health ecosystem ensuring continuity between legacy systems and future product introduction

  • Ability to articulate the key clinical and business needs addressable through a digital platform and the translation of those needs into digital releases that drive customer and business value

  • Digital Health portfolio budget, scope, timeline, and integration for the ongoing program and each product release

  • In collaboration with peer program directors, integration of the Digital Health portfolio into the overall PH product pipeline

  • Integration of digital health program and associated product releases projects into the overall Operating Unit Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Planning cycles

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive decision-making and ensure clear communication among team members and stakeholders

  • Integrate multiple disciplines to create an intuitive and simple user experience

  • Develop a strategic plan that integrates both internal and external technologies to deliver business value

Key Experience:


  • Working with both internal and external resources to integrate technologies into deployable solutions. This should include working with 3rd party resources and assessing buy vs build strategies

  • In the creation of mobile applications and cloud-based solutions as part of the digital health ecosystem

  • In developing and maintaining a digital ecosystem with a focus on scalability and user-centered design

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize user-centered experiences, ensuring the needs of patients and clinicians are at the forefront of design, development, and deployment

  • Interacting with senior leadership to communicate project status, challenges, and strategic initiatives

  • Developing strong partnerships with upstream marketing in the translation of user needs into executable work, and with downstream marketing and peer program directors in the development and commercialization of solutions

  • Working in both a non-regulated and regulated environment with a demonstrated ability to build solutions that efficiently and effectively exist in both environments

  • In a role serving as Digital Product Owner or Digital Product Manager


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 7 years in a program leadership role

Preferred Qualifications To Be Successful In The Role!


  • Strong understanding of digital technologies (iOS, Android Applications, Wearables, Web/Cloud data solutions) and their application in healthcare

  • Experience developing and deploying AI models for use in a healthcare environment

  • Experience in the development and commercialization of digital health solutions

  • Experience working with third-party / outsourced vendors

  • Experience developing mobile applications and cloud-based solutions

  • Track record of successfully building digital ecosystem(s) from the ground up

  • Strong business acumen and strategic planning skills

  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • Strong project and program management skills and experience in leading cross-functional teams

  • Proven track record of driving product development and delivering innovative solutions in the healthcare industry

  • Proven track record of driving user-center solutions with an ability to scale at a global level

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

  • Ability to navigate a matrixed organization and manage multiple priorities

  • Passion for healthcare and improving patient outcomes

  • Experience in organizational change management with a demonstrated ability and comfort with driving change within a cross-functional organization

  • Willingness to travel up to 5-10% of the time

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$188,800.00 - $283,200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
