Volt is immediately hiring for Electronics Technician in Moline, IL
As an Electronics Technician, you will:
Work with design/test engineers on building test fixtures, debug circuitry, test setup, equipment maintenance and/or perform testing.
Set up Dynamometers for electric motor and/or inverter testing.
Perform inspection and test as necessary to determine cause of defective electronic assemblies with instruction.
Rework products per company and industry standards.
Build test harnesses, loads and circuit boards to support product design as required.
Document and maintain records relating to work performed.
Design and build engineering test fixtures.
Required Skills:
Minimum one year of related experience in electronics, manufacturing, or engineering.
A.S. in Electronics, a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military certification, or equivalent experience
Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheets, and word processing
Understanding of manufacturing processes and electronic components
Possess a thorough understanding of diagnostic equipment and methods e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
Read intermediate engineering documents, e.g., schematics or diagrams
Maintain necessary product records and documentation
Comprehend and use product/process component datasheets
Assemble and disassemble products
Maintain lab equipment
Perform mechanical work
Shift: 1st Shift
Duration: 12+ Months (Possible extension)
Location: Moline, IL 61265
Pay rate: $30/hr - $35/hr.
