Position details:

The accounting intern will assist the accounting department and its functional areas with one-off special projects, database creation, reporting and maintenance, review of leases and other legal documents, research related to the company’s shopping centers, tenants and market areas and assisting in the day to day operations of the department.

The position provides a practical way of learning Brixmor’s portfolio of assets and the retail real estate business.

Skills required:

• Interest in Real Estate and Accounting
• Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to multi-task and quickly complete projects with a high degree of accuracy
• Excels in a team-oriented work environment
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Exhibits a strong work ethic and accountability to deadlines
• High GPA
• Prefer Rising Seniors with accounting or finance major
