Job Description:
HunaTek is seeking an Acquisition Program/SchedulingAnalyst with experience supporting acquisition programs for the United States Marine Corps and/or the Department of Defense. The Analyst will be responsible for working with multi-functional teams to drive deliverables to successful completion. Specifically, the Analyst is responsible for working closely with technical experts, project leads, and project managers in planning, creating, and managing project schedules for acquisition programs of varying type, size, and complexity.
This position is ideal for an experienced Program Analyst supporting a DoD acquisition program office with some experience in scheduling who is looking to further develop their scheduling expertise.
This position requires work to be conducted in and around the Quantico, VA region approximately 50% of the time.

Collaborate with individuals at all levels to support program office strategic activities.
Responsible for working closely with technical experts, project leads, and project managers in planning, creating, and managing project schedules.
Develop and maintain an integrated master schedule (IMS) which will contain program and project level schedule elements using Microsoft Project.
Assess and provide recommendations to team members regarding schedule creation, maintenance, and layout.
Coordinate with program/project teams to develop a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for incorporation into the IMS and identify level-of effort to support appropriate resource loading/planning activities.
Develop, document, and implement a consistent scheduling methodology.
Provide weekly updates on active project status.
Monitor and report performance against plans and schedules to ensure that programs meet program cost, and schedule objectives
Conduct evaluations of program schedules, comparing the schedule baseline to actual performance.
Interface with stakeholders to solicit required schedule data/updates and performance of schedule analysis
Proactively identify and enable program management priorities based on information and priorities articulated in meetings, applications, and master schedule to provide recommendations on how to reduce risk.
Provide impact analysis of changes of requirements or priorities on the program schedule and critical path.
Actively participate in program/project meetings to provide direction and guidance on schedule activities.
Brief audiences with varying levels of program familiarity by providing regular status updates and coordinating with stakeholders
Provide input to weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports regarding the schedule baseline, performance against the schedule, and associated schedule risks/mitigations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
US Citizenship required.
Secret Security Clearance.
Working knowledge of the Department of Defense Acquisition Process and its various phases, milestones, and reviews.
Basic understanding of scheduling as it relates to a project with a willingness and aptitude to learn scheduling methodologies and software.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Detail-oriented with ability to complete tasks with thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency.
Be able to work cooperatively within a product office team but also work independent on delegated tasks.
Ability to effectively communicate with Project Managers, Control Account Managers (CAM), and other stakeholders.
Preferred: Industry Certifications such as SCRUM Certification Industry certifications in schedule development and management, PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), and/or Project Management Professional (PMP).
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering, science, math, business administration or humanities.
5+ years' experience supporting a Department of Defense Acquisition Program Office in an analyst or scheduler capacity.
Preferred: Prior experience supporting United States Marine Corps / Navy Acquisition Program Office.
Preferred: Prior experience managing Integrated Management Schedules (IMS) in MS Project, Primavera, or similar scheduling software for Department of Defense Acquisition programs.
