Nemours is seeking a Full time MRI Supervisor to join our team.
Full time 1.0 FTE MRI Supervisor position Monday to Friday

The MRI Technologist Supervisor will perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies under the direction of a physician with established methods and procedures. The supervisor is responsible for patient care, quality control and improvement activities, proper operation of all MR equipment and direct supervision of MRI technologists. The MRI Supervisor will report to the Radiology Manager responsible for MRI.

The MRI Supervisor will participate in departmental and hospital programs for Quality Assessment and Improvement, identifying opportunities to improve services, making recommendations, and implementing actions as appropriate and consistent with the goals of the Nemours Foundation. The MRI Supervisor will assist in training staff on using MRI systems and help with maintaining ACR accreditation for MRI systems.

This role is estimated to spend 90% of duties as an MRI Technologist and the other duties will be performing supervisor duties.

Requirements:

ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist is required.
Successful completion ARRT MR certification is required. Candidate must currently hold MR registry or MR registry must be obtained within 24 months of hire.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
