We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Accountant to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual with strong technical expertise in tax law and a passion for providing high-quality service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations
Conduct tax research to ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations
Advise clients on tax strategies and deductions to minimize tax liability
Work with the team to manage client relationships and provide excellent customer service
Assist with audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
Stay updated on current tax laws, regulations, and developments
Help with the preparation of financial statements and other accounting duties as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA designation (preferred) or working towards certification
Minimum of 2-3 years of tax accounting experience
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws
Proficient in tax software (e.g., ProSeries, UltraTax, etc.)
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
