In this exciting role, you'll:
Act as the sole payroll processor and backup for the Senior Accountant as needed
Process full-cycle payroll for 250+ employees across multiple states
Audit and review bi-weekly timesheets
Process timesheet input in payroll software to generate checks, direct deposits, and reports, meeting payroll submission deadlines set by third-party providers.
Reconcile and transmit files for retirement plans and garnishment
Maintain and update payroll records, including deductions, exemptions, and direct deposit information.
Collaborate with HR to manage payroll-related inquiries, adjustments, and reports.
Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports for management and auditing purposes.
Support special projects such as system upgrades or payroll software implementation.
You'll be a great fit if you have:
3+ years of payroll processing experience, including multi-state payroll
Bachelor's or Associate's degree
Highly Preferred: Experience in the engineering, construction, or consulting industry.
