Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and post journal entries for month-end and year-end closings.
Assist in account reconciliations, including bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
2. Financial Reporting
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Generate reports for internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Support audits by providing required documentation and schedules.
3. Accounts Payable and Receivable
Process vendor invoices, ensure proper coding, and prepare payments.
Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding invoices, and reconcile payments.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions in compliance with company policies.
4. Budgeting and Analysis
Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
Perform variance analysis to compare actual results with budgeted figures.
Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
5. Compliance and Documentation
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS) and internal controls.
Maintain organized and accurate records for audits and regulatory requirements.
Monitor adherence to tax regulations and assist with tax filings as required.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in accounting or related roles.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP).
Advanced excel skills
