Job Description:
We are seeking a Band II Filling Operator to join our team! The ideal candidate will play a key role in operating filling and packaging equipment, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining strict regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate filling and packaging equipment, including manual and automated filling machines, balances, labelers, band sealers, pumps, and filtration systems.
Perform basic troubleshooting as needed.
Weigh, measure, and check raw materials using a computer interface to ensure batches contain accurate materials and quantities.
Calibrate and operate semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment.
Conduct in-process sampling and testing to ensure batches meet specifications.
Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. .
Complete and maintain quality records in compliance with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and SOPs.
Maintain equipment and work areas in proper operating condition and cleanliness.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
Preferred laboratory experience.
Ability to pipette is a plus.
Able to work in cold environments for at least 2 hrs (+4 environment)
Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to changing priorities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 to 50 pounds.
Work in a manufacturing environment adhering to safety protocols.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $16.78-$27.96.
