Role: Public & Social Impact Leader (Senior Principal or Director)



Who You'll Work With



Our Public & Social Impact (P&SI) Account Portfolio Team helps organizations redefine what's possible, give shape to the future-and get there. We focus on high-impact projects, meeting our clients where they are to uncover business needs and deliver results. Our teams go beyond the expected to help clients move positively through ambiguity and risk and drive more transformative outcomes. The P&SI team provides business and technology consulting services to government agencies, higher education institutions and non-profit organizations in the greater Seattle area. We are currently searching for a talented, seasoned business professional to grow our presence. This manager position will be a key part of our P&SI leadership team in Seattle. The person in this role will be responsible for client satisfaction, client delivery, consultant coaching, and relationship development for each account he or she manages. .



What You'll Do



  • Direct Revenue responsibility of $2.5M +

  • Responsible for profitability of assigned local accounts (revenue and utilization goals)

  • Seek opportunities for growth/maturation of Slalom offerings

  • Provide oversight and governance of all sold/managed engagements

  • Drive business development with the proper information (creation of SOW, RFP responses), tools and subject matter expertise to sell engagements within the vertical

  • Deliver work at our clients (target utilization of 60% for Senior Principal and 40% for Director) - develop & deliver best practices, delivery templates, POV papers

  • Maintain awareness of industry best practices and business levers for a particular client list

  • Involved with local and national strategy initiatives

  • Flexibility to travel between Seattle and South Puget Sound.


What You'll Bring



  • 7+ years relevant work with formal consulting experience

  • 3+ years public sector or non-profit experience, preferably with government agencies, higher education institutions, or non-profits in Washington

  • 3+ years account management and client relationship experience (in consulting industry)

  • Ability to accurately estimate work, respond to RFP's, and write Statements of Work that protect Slalom Consulting's business interests

  • Strong business understanding of technologies and key business drivers within the public sector and non-profit industries

  • Advanced project delivery (project/program management) and/or specific consulting expertise you can offer to clients

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrated drive to grow and improve the account

  • Ability and interest in working alone

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For Senior Principal the base salary pay range is $153,000 to $237,000 and the targeted base salary range is $173,000 to $194,000. For Director, the base salary pay range is $175,000 to $281,000 and the targeted base salary range is $195,000 to $245,000. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
