The Market Pricing Specialist will be responsible for calculating and updating all market prices for GLC and our customers as well as assist in maintaining the pricing and fringe within SAP.
Job Responsibilities
Accurately compile and summarize all market related information from the appropriate external exchanges.
Calculate all commodity markets for each requested calendar interval, by customer and cheese type.
Maintain and manage all customer market sheets for accuracy and distribution.
Streamline and improve current processes for market price calculation accuracy and distribution.
Work closely with Account Managers and Associate Account Managers to ensure accurate delivery of all market-related pricing.
Assist in the monitoring of all differential balances related to market pricing and recommend changes in policy when needed.
Assist Pricing Operations Team in managing any Price restructuring, updating, and publication of price increases.
Assist Pricing Operations Team with pricing data entry support.
Investigate pricing discrepancies as needed.
Perform ongoing measurements and reporting on market pricing effectiveness.
Provide assistance for major corporate projects and project teams through research and reporting.
Primary user of CPQ market pricing software.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting or related field.
1 year or more of Dairy Market and/or Commodity Market experience.
1 year of SAP experience.
Extensive Microsoft Excel experience.
Excellent communicator.
Analytical and organized with relentless attention to detail.
Must be legally authorized to work for a company in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Education and Experience
2 or more years Pricing, Dairy Market, and/or Commodity Market experience.
Minimum of 1 year SAP experience.
Previous experience working in Accounting or Finance.
Previous experience in Data Analytics.
Ability to make decisions based on standard practices.
Ability to summarize meaningful information from large data sets.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve.
General understanding of manufacturing processes.
Working Conditions
• Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35°F to 100°F; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.
• Work is performed in an office setting.
