Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and enhance Public Cloud Tenants/Organizations following industry best practices.


• Develop and present strategic recommendations to leadership to drive effective decision-making.


• Lead and mentor teams in implementing technology initiatives and managing project execution.


• Design and deploy hybrid cloud solutions that integrate Azure services with on-premises infrastructure.


• Oversee workload migrations to Azure, ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and performance standards.


• Implement and maintain monitoring tools to optimize infrastructure health, performance, and cost-effectiveness.


• Automate provisioning and configuration processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.


• Establish and enforce robust security measures across hybrid and hyper-converged environments.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored infrastructure solutions.


• Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure systems and operational processes.


• Develop and execute patch management strategies to uphold security and system reliability.


• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in infrastructure environments.


• Generate and share platform health and security updates through dashboards, reports, and ad hoc data analyses.


• Partner with security, compliance, and identity management teams to address platform gaps and enhance functionality.


• Conduct proof-of-concept projects to assess and integrate new system enhancements.


• Follow established change management procedures and contribute to business continuity planning.


• Participate in a rotational schedule for on-call and after-hours support.

Qualifications:

• Required: Associate degree in computer science or a related field.


• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.


• Minimum of 4+ years in an engineering or related technical role.


• Preferred: 2+ years of experience in team leadership or project management.


• Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure.

Additional Skills, Experience, Requirements

• Strong understanding of networking, security protocols, and disaster recovery practices.


• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.


• Strong technical aptitude with a collaborative mindset.


• Experience documenting complex infrastructure systems.

Experience or exposure to appropriate systems such as:

• 
  Cloud Services: Expertise in Microsoft Azure preferred.


• 
  Identity Management: Proficient in Azure EntraID and on-premises Active Directory.


• 
  Operating Systems: Windows Server (including Server Core).


• 
  Applications: Microsoft 365, Teams, AVDS, RDS, and advanced Microsoft licensing.


• 
  Hardware: SANs, servers, and backup appliances.


• 
  Scripting: Strong PowerShell proficiency.


• 
  Security Tools: IAM, MFA, PAM, SIEM, Pen Testing, and Vulnerability Scanning.


• 
  Compliance: Experience with audits (e.g., SOX, SOC1, ISO, PCI, HIPAA).


• 
  Disaster Recovery: Proven track record in DR and business continuity planning.


• 
  Frameworks: Familiarity with ITIL Framework (preferred).
