This position reports to the Director, Operations & Special Projects, US Rare Disease Medical and can be either office-based or remote.
This position will work across the Rare Disease franchise with US medical to lead coordination of field medical activities in partnership with relevant internal stakeholders, provide management of systems (e.g., CRM, CLM, Vault, & Digital), support division general managers, and implement medical excellence initiatives.
This position will also identify and support process improvement/innovation and general project management to ensure successful completion of projects/initiatives according to agreed upon timelines and budgets.

Main Responsibilities
Manage the coordination of field events such as regional symposia, SEPs, and MSL-Led programs
Support Medical Materials Review Process including preparing submissions and assisting with edits and reviews.
Identify/recommend/support process improvement opportunities
Works with relevant internal stakeholders and external vendors
Coordinates content management to ensure approved resources and materials are uploaded and stored in the appropriate platforms (e.g., SharePoint & CLM); provides oversight/coordination to ensure compliant use.
Supports project management for key initiatives and tracking of project milestones and appropriate documentation (e.g., FMVs, GRFs)
Long-range planning and day-to-day oversight of key initiatives, program management, project management (e.g., HCP and MSL-led Events)
Proactive management of project timelines and deliverables
Reporting exercises and tracking initiatives
Foundational knowledge on assigned processes and relevant compliance
Liaising with key internal and vendor partners (e.g., Events Engagement, ITA, Procurement, Finance, & Compliance)
Develops, coordinates, and implements medical excellence initiatives to drive consistency and efficiency of processes across the Rare Field Medical Team
Contracting of HCP Events (e.g., regional symposia and scientific education programs)
Weekly status reports, monthly dashboards, & ad hoc updates
Supports interface with medical operations, shared services, and IT
Administrative support to divisional general managers
Other projects as assigned by the Director of Operations
About You
Education and Experience
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and at least 3-4 years of industry experience in field medical or related/transferable experience e. Candidates without a degree but with substantial experience may be considered.
Experience in Veeva CRM preferred. Project management, information technology, analytics and process improvement methodology.

Candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of Medical Affairs organizations and specifically the field medical function including related operating processes, systems, policies, procedures, and regulations.
Candidate must possess exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, excellent organizational time management skills, and the ability to lead, collaborate and align with diverse, cross-functional matrix teams.
Understanding of pharmaceutical or biotechnical regulated environments and functions
Analytical and Detail oriented, well-developed organizational skills, pragmatic in solving problems
Additional Professional Skills and Requirements
Travel will be required for team meetings and other company functions.
Ability to lead project management initiatives and process improvement
Ability to conduct effective meetings
Technology savvy; familiar with information systems, CRM platforms, and IT resources
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
